Annual Turkey Drive 2021

In 2021, we made a triumphant return with our Annual Turkey Drive after a pandemic hiatus. Thanksgiving was Chris’s favorite holiday; he loved to eat and celebrate with family. To honor his memory, we began by giving a meal to one family and have grown tremendously. This year, we successfully purchased 500 turkeys for the community and helped stock a local food pantry, bringing hope and sustenance to many. 

The Tashane Way team knows firsthand what it’s like to go without a meal at one time or another. During the holidays, it is exceptionally difficult when families cannot come together to have a meal to celebrate with each other. We are helping to give families, big or small, their dignity back by relieving them of the expense of items needed to celebrate this staple holiday. This isn’t really about the holiday but the idea of helping families bond over a meal that they may not otherwise be able to have. The idea that children can enjoy this meal and understand the importance of family, big or small, and how it can positively change the direction they choose to live their lives through the model of More Than The Four Corners™.
